Alfa Genus Ear Phones Review

Having regrettably signed up for a half marathon, I decided that purchasing all of the necessary and unnecessary gear was the first step. In this way, looking like I knew what I was doing would motivate me to get out of bed in the morning (at a ridiculous hour) before work and go for a run. Before the fancy trainers and sports wear, first on my list was a decent pair of earphones. I would need these to blast upbeat songs whilst attempting to ignore the heavy panting, constant sweating and crippling stitch.

With a list of criteria, I had a look online at various brands and designs. They needed to stay firmly in my ears as I ran like a lunatic, have great sound quality with generous bass and also look the part, I wanted something shiny and stylish. After a little trawl I came across the Alfa Genus ear phones, a new brand known for its excellent sound. It had great reviews online and seemed to tick all of the boxes. Rock Jaw’s latest development looked to be an easy sell with interchangeable tuning filters and an 8mm dynamic neodymium driver. Once they arrived, they didn’t disappoint, the packaging was neat and compact offering different sizes to fit your ear perfectly, the importance of which cannot be overlooked as I didn’t want them to keep falling out whilst I was running.

Whilst I haven’t been as dedicated with the marathon training as I had originally hoped, I am extremely happy with my earphones. Whether I am exercising or more likely watching Netflix and listening to music on my commute, the Alfa Genus is brilliant. I recommend it to anyone for any occasion who wants to block out the outside world and immerse themselves in their music with comfort and high quality. You will not be disappointed! Now for a run… Or maybe just one more more episode of Game of Thrones.
